Junior High

Heart of CMCS Junior High

It is the heart of CMCS to teach the whole student; instruct in God’s love,  foster healthy peer friendships, cultivate desire to be a life-long learner and provide opportunities to explore enrichments such as arts, music, and athletics. Our teachers and staff guide students with love and kindness as they guide their growth into the young men and women God has created them to be.

In addition to learning the core subjects of Bible, English, Math, Science and History our students also have the opportunity to take elective classes: art, technology, PE,  music, yearbook, and ASB. Each year, students have the opportunity to participate in camp, pep rallies, and spiritual emphasis days. Our hope is to provide students with opportunities to explore their giftedness, so that each individual discovers and develops their God-given talents.

Biblical Emphasis

Instilling a passion for Jesus into the hearts of students is our primary endeavor. Students are immersed in God's word daily as they walk through the stories of the Old & New Testaments. They are encouraged to have a Bible at school so that they can learn to read God's truth for themselves. Students also participate in daily Koinonia Groups as they dive into God's word and prayer through small groups led by our Junior High staff. Weekly chapels (Square One) are held on Monday mornings. Students participate in worship and hear from guests as they share God's love and truth from His word.  A few times a year, students get to participate in Spiritual Emphasis Days. These days are designed to provide opportunities for fun and fellowship while also giving students a chance to hear more Biblical truths from God's word.

Over the years, students in the Outreach Program have impacted communities across the globe! Our students have served with our wonderful partners in globally and here in the United States. Our focus is to partner with local ministries who impact their communities for Christ. Our goal is to help all of our Jr. High students understand the command that God has given each one of us to proclaim His name throughout the nations and to care for those in need.
