Brian Bell

Brian Bell is the main teaching Pastor, Chairman of the Church Board, Chairman of the School Board, and shepherd of Calvary Murrieta. He started CMCS almost 30 years ago and has continued to provide leadership for the school after his two children became CMCS graduates. Brian fell in love with his high school sweetheart, dated for five years, and has been married now for thirty-seven wonderful years. He has two adult children and four grandchildren. What really warms his heart is playing with his grandchildren. What fuels him physically is surfing and hiking. What moves his soul is getting to think, strategize, pray for, and visit our unreached people groups.

Jennifer Bursch 

Jen Bursch manages CMCS’ finances and is a member of both the Church Board and the CMCS Board. She and her husband, Jordan, are parents to two CMCS students. Jen obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Gordon University and obtained both her Juris Doctorate and Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University. Her life and heart are filled with her dual passions of being a mom and a life-long learner.

Larry Hansen

Larry Hansen is the Missions Pastor at Calvary Murrieta and a member of both the Church Board and the CMCS Board. He combines education, first-hand experience, and missions partnerships to continue to move forward in reaching the unreached. Larry brings a strong focus of being a continuous learner and listener so that he can best serve in the role he has been called. Larry enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, Donna, and together they have two children, Landi and Paul.

Andrew Lacasse

Andrew Lacasse attended CMCS from 1996-2004 and is a member of the church and school board. He previously taught junior high Bible and currently serves as Assistant Pastor for Adult Ministries and Education. Andrew enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and daughter. 

Esteban Lizarraga

Esteban Lizarraga is the Director of K-12 in Education Services at Val Verde Unified School District and a CMCS board member. He has extensive experience in education, including teaching and administration. Esteban obtained his Bachelor of Arts, teaching credential, and Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership. He is blessed to be married to his amazing wife, Jacquelyn, and a father to four wonderful children, two of whom attend CMCS. Esteban is honored to be a part of the learning community at Calvary Murrieta Christian Schools that educates, equip, and disciples students.

Jennifer Bursch

Head of Schools | K-8th Interim Principal 

Jen is Calvary Murrieta’s Executive Director and Calvary Murrieta Christian Schools’ Head of School, as well as a Church Board member and a School Board member. As Executive Director and Head of Schools, Jen is responsible to oversee the finances and operations of both the Church and School. Jen is a lawyer, and has spent the majority of her career advocating for churches and Christian schools. She and her husband Jordan have two kids. Her hobbies are reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Rachel Olivieri

K-8th Assistant Principal

Rachel Olivieri lived in Peoria, Arizona for the last seven years, but grew up in Murrieta. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has taught kindergarten, third grade, and sixth grade. Rachel has supported 6th-8th grade teachers across different school campuses by guiding teachers through professional development courses to promote academic growth in the classroom as well as equipping teachers to best support their students.   

Mical Andrews

Instructional Coach

Mical Andrews is a CMCS alumni and has been working at CMCS for the last 11 years. She has taught 2nd and 4th grades and was the Elementary Principal and Assistant Principal. Mrs. Andrews has a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Masters of Science in Education all from Cal Baptist University. Mrs. Andrews is excited to assist our teachers as an instructional coach. She has a heart for watching students succeed and instilling godly principles into their everyday lives.
