Junior Kindergarten

Our Junior Kindergarten program is for our older 4's turning 5 who may have missed that cut off for Kindergarten or would like another year of preschool before heading off to Kinder.  After completing Jr. K our students are ready to thrive in elementary school! Using Bob Jones University Curriculum our students are prepared spiritually, academically and socially to move up.  Our teachers provide a balance of social development and playtime, along with structured learning that includes the following fundamental instruction: Bible, reading, writing, math, science, social studies, music, art, literature, and gross and fine motor development skills. Most importantly, we apply Biblical integration to all areas of our program.

Curriculum: Bob Jones University

BJU Press’s early childhood program develops foundational knowledge and skills in Bible, math, social studies, science, handwriting, and language arts for future grades. This program, flexible for all types of learners at all stages of learning, develops the joy of learning through both teacher-guided and independent discovery-based activities. Daily themed lessons with characters teach foundational skills that are supported with music and engaging visuals. Free play at intentional learning centers encourages natural curiosity, while group activities encourage social-emotional development. Biblical worldview themes point students to a knowledge of God and His will.
