About Elementary Science Center
Elementary Science Center is offered to our students, 1st-6th grade. Every other week, students enter the Science Center to participate in unique hands-on science labs and STEM activities. Weekly lessons are coordinated with the classroom teachers to enhance their units of instruction. We study many different areas of science including: Life, Physical, Earth, Space, and the Human Body. Throughout all of our lessons, students are reminded that science is the study of God’s creation.
Mrs. Deborah Ernst started teaching at Calvary Murrieta in 1997. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts from California State University Long Beach. This will be her fourth year teaching science center. Mrs. Ernst has a passion for science and she enjoys watching learning come to life for her students.
