About Junior High Bible

Boys' & Girls' Bible
This year, our junior high Bible classes will be divided into Boys' Bible and Girls' Bible. We are excited to create a space for our students to dive deeper into God's word, grow in their relationships with Christ, create connections with their teacher and peers, and be able to talk about real-world issues from a Christian perspective.

In Bible class this year, our students will be studying the New Testament. We will learn how Jesus has fulfilled the many promises of God, and how He will ultimately and permanently establish His Kingdom.  Students will read their Bibles every day in class, watch videos that give them a general overview of each book we study, and complete assignments designed to reinforce  the  important concepts. In addition to studying what the Word says, students will explore ways we can apply scripture to our lives. and will have the opportunity to practice living out their faith through various service projects.

Mr. Singh

Mr. Steven Singh has been with us at Calvary since 2018, and we are blessed to have him! He has 15 years of teaching experience and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from San Diego State University. This year, Mr. Singh teaches Junior High History, Physical Science, and Bible–but many of our football players know him as Coach Singh. His favorite thing about teaching is getting to work with students. He loves helping them learn new things, laughing with them, and getting to know them, but his greatest passion is helping them grow in their walks with Christ. Mr. Singh says, “They say if you do what you love for a living you never work a day in your life…I haven’t had to work in a very long time.”
