Calvary Murrieta High School- Symphonic Band
Daniel Lybeck graduated from CMCS in 2009 having been a member of the music and theater programs here at the school. He studied music at California Baptist University. While there, he participated in 5 theatrical productions and performed with the CBU Choral Union, Chamber Singers, and the Male Chorale & Brass Ensemble. His education allowed him to be exposed to a vast range of musical styles and performance mediums including choral and solo vocal performance, brass (trumpet and trombone), woodwinds (clarinet and flute), and various percussion instruments. His love of music is only outmatched by his love for the Lord and the desire to share in and develop the gifts that God has blessed the students at Calvary Murrieta with. The verse that he feels best defines his relationship with the Lord is 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10, “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
