Calvary Murrieta Elementary Athletics
We are excited that we can extend our athletic programs to our sixth grade students! In the fall, we offer football, girl’s volleyball and coed cross country. In the winter, we offer baseball and softball. Finally, in the spring, we offer boys basketball and girls basketball, coed soccer, boys soccer, golf and track and field. Please see Junior High Athletics for complete information.
Our desire is to produce solid Christian young men and women who fervently seek after God’s own heart. Our mission’s three purposes are to develop our athletes spiritually, academically, and physically.
SPIRITUALLY
Being Christ centered in everything that we do.
Being Christ centered in everything that we teach.
Being Christ centered in everything that we say.
The natural results of being a Christ centered ministry: a fervor love for God, a fervor love for learning and a fervor love for others.
ACADEMICALLY
At CMCS we want to produce Student/Athletes!
Academically, Warriors student-athletes have had banner year. In 2011-2012, CMCS had a total of 92 High School Athletes that have a combined GPA of 3.38! Our senior class of Student/Athletes are graduating with a combine GPA of 3.52!!! Here at CMCS we are committed on being the leader in producing STUDENT/Athletes Leaders that will make a difference in the corporate and professional world!
PHYSICALLY
As an Athletic Ministry we have an obligation to provide the best high school athletic experience to every young person who competes in our athletic programs. Our desire is to have competitive programs where athletes are challenged to use God’s given athletic abilities to honor Him. No second best for God! Give 100% 100% of the time. Excellence honors God and inspires athletes to achieve at their maximum potential. Athletes will learn the principles of sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, discipline, responsibility, perseverance through adversity, and leadership.
As a result we will have student athletes that will revolutionize our churches, the classroom, our campus, the field, our communities and finally the World!
